Sometimes I have to rent a vehicle 3 times a month and with this new policy it means that I have a considerable large amount blocked on my credit card. As a result of this I cannot use my creditcard anymore which I find unacceptable. I was always very satisfied with their service but this new policy has made me decide not to use their service anymore."

I also find their prices very reasonable. If there's anything I might suggest for Guerin it's that I've been renting with them for many years now and they never seem to remember me when I'm at their desk. I believe they should have something like customer files with all the details, like address, fonenr, creditcard nr. in stead of having to ask for this information every time I'm at their desk. I would also appreciate a loyalty programme."

I believe they are a bit understaffed. Also it is very difficult to get a hold of them by phone. However, I really like their service and I always make sure to rent my vehicle at Guerin as I really appreciate their fares and their fuel policy."

On top of the 23 euro they charge 71 euro for full tank of petrol when this only costs 50 to 55 euros to fill. I feel robbed and deceived. I will not go back to them and hope you can sort them out as an affiliate of yours."

Comment spain-carhire-team "At arrival at Faro we found out that we're having our car from Goldcar. we had bad experiance with goldcar in the past and they did it again by increasing the hire cost with some vague items. also they managed to state that a full load cost €98 for a fiat punto wich tank is 40 liter. if I had to opportunity to put of the hire I sure had but coming at 23:00 pm I had no choice and goldcar nows this. so no more car hire for you."

"Full - empty" fuel policy: The car came with a full tank of diesel and this was very expensively charged by GOLDCAR. Because we hired a large car type, the registration device for automatic toll collection was built into the car, which was included in the rent. (the toll itself of course not) Both at our pick-up and return moments, there was no queue. Other customers complained about unexpected insurance costs, but Cars4Holidays had correctly indicated GOLDCAR's own insurance options, conditions and pricing."

We had a super rekaxed insurance, but we expect a car without a scratch. Every customer has to pay for this insurance. At airport lisboa the rent a cars signs are correct. But at the end, just before the Return sign it was confusing. The last sign was difficult to see from the road. We almost passed it. Further the return service was quick and friendly personel. First invoice was correct. now we have to wait for the second and last invoice with the toll amounts. Afterwards by creditcard."
